Also, be mindful of local water restrictions and environmental regulations. For example, you are not permitted to wash cars on hard surfaces such as a driveway or the road because of the runoff of contaminated water into the stormwater system and our rivers and harbour. If you are washing your car at home, you must clean it on a soft surface like a lawn.
